ISO/IEC 9945-1: 1990 (IEEE Std 1003.1-1990 Information Technology -
POSIX), page 144 lines 623-625:

]The zero baud rate, B0, is used to terminate the connection.  If B0 is
]specified as the output baud rate when tcsetattr() is called, the
]modem control lines shall no longer be asserted.  Normally, this will
]disconnect the line.
