I'm also interested in this sort of interface as I'm presently engaged
in designing in this and additional environmental sensoring in a next-rev
of a product we designed. :-)

Having the ability to accomodate other A/D type interfaces would be
a major plus...   Of course, I haven't read the API proposal so I
can be convinced to shut up. :-)
