In the i386 port there are/will be a number of devices that can only
exist in a single instance, such as APM, PNPBIOS, and possibly ACPI.
Would it make sense to share a major number for these devices?  And if
so, what should a mini-devsw look like for this device?

Or are major numbers considered cheap enough?
