It would be a good thing to have if it actually worked properly.

The OpenBSD code doesn't work properly with cloned devices, nor does
it work properly in the case where a device's actual resource may be
"unknown" (i.e. -1) .. because in that case the locator is often packed,
and when you modify one, you modify it for many other devices you didn't
intend to modify.
