It seems that when I put the ubc patches into service
my usb connected modem dies after a variable time, with
the usb stuff going south, sometimes going into a restartable
state (by power cycling the modem) and other times causing
a panic. I didn't have enough swap space to get a dump before.
If need be, I think I can get a crash dump, if the info
will be in it. Since I don't have a serial console right now
I don't have the panic data.
