According to private talk with mrg, mrg didn't misunderstand the
behaviour of NetBSD.

What he said in the following sentence is that "The behaviour of
BSD/OS is previous to what mycroft did. I.e. The current behaviour
of NetBSD is different from the behaviour of BSD/OS."
