More than likely it is clashing with an internal laptop resource, I
had very similar messages once upon a time.

dunno about cb but I use

options         PCIC_ISA_ALLOC_IOBASE=0x500
options         PCIC_ISA_ALLOC_IOSIZE=0x100

for normal pcmcia...
