   OK, so having the ability to add new DDB commands via LKM would probably be
   handy sometimes. But is there a need to replace existing DDB commands ? That's
   what we talk about.


is there a real need to remove the ability?  i really like the const
work you've been doing, and hope you continue through out more of the
kernel, but only if it doesn't sacrifice anything ...
