That's not true any more. I have resolved the problem by applying a
workaround for Solaris. Now you can compile and run Wine out of
the box as in Linux.

The truth is that the Single Unix Spec is too ambiguous about
mmap(2) semantics. Neither Linux or NetBSD is wrong.
