netbsd's dmesg says

	mainbus0 (root): micro COMPstation 5

when i boot the machine, it says

	micro COMPstation 5, No Keyboard

and solaris's "dmesg" says

	root nexus = micro COMPstation 5

so microsparcII would not have been my guess.  it's made by tatung,
fwtw.  it still doesn't seem that much to ask, however, that there be
a much easier way to "divine" this information.
