oh, one more thing.


if you insist on it remaining, then i insist that the option be renamed.
it implies it is required for a.out compatibility, but that is false.
that comes from EXEC_AOUT and userland bits.  i don't have a good name,
perhaps EXEC_AOUT_PATH_TRANSLATION.  i have nasty names as well but
i don't think those are really appropriate :-)
