I think that's because on sparc /dev/kbd and /dev/mouse firm events
and /dev/fb are dating back to when SunOS was SunOS and they provide
functionality very similar to that of MI wscons in NetBSD.

Besides, Xsun knows how to talk to those SunOS interfaces, so
providing them was, I think, the cheapest way to get X for the sparc
port.

PS: Are there any other programs besides Xsun and mgr :) that need
those interfaces?

PPS: Anyone is porting mgr to wscons? ;)
