I'm having problems with my Texas Instruments PCI-Cardbus Bridges (both
1410 and 1225 versions) with a Wavelan card in NetBSD 1.6 on my VIA EPIA
motherboard (VT8231 Southbridge). The same setup and
cbb/cardslot/cardbus/pcmcia kernel config works fine with 1.5.2.

Depending on the mb/bios device configuration (and which bridge card I
use), I see a range of failure modes in 1.6, including 1) hang at
wavelan attachment time, 2) unable to attach wavelan, 3) lockup at first
wavelan network activity, 4) lockup after significant wavelan network
activity. I've tried disabling every single device from the bios
except my boot device (either IDE or USB), but it still breaks.

I plan to proceed debugging with the assumption of an IO range or
interrupt conflict, but the differences in behavior between 1.5.2 and
1.6 prompt me to query the list for a clue.

Thanks,
Bill
