Since all the other ideas got frazzled more or less whats about porting
vserver [1] to NetBSD?

I don't know if there would be enough kernel-related work to satisfy
your hunger on kernel-programming but it seems to need a little bit of
that, too.
I don't know if there's already a equivalent for NetBSD, too ...

Just an idea ...
