I have been working on porting FreeBSD's ppbus code to NetBSD and I
have 3 devices working somewhat well: atppc (the low-level chipset
device), ppbus (machine independent parallel port support, IEEE 1284
support) and lpt (printer driver).

I would like to post the code to this list, but the diff is about
250KB: is this a bit too big for email? It has also been suggested to
me to put this on the web somewhere and just post a link to it. The
gzipped version is about 50KB. I have also made a smaller diff for real
changes to files and a gzipped tarball for new files (which is combined
slightly less than 50KB).
