I found the following post to tech-kern: "Multiple keyboards and mice"

What interested me was the possibility of a virtual mouse, whereby
userland could inject "mouse events", meaning one could control the mouse=
=20
pointer with something other than a mouse. (eg. a joystick, some serial=20
device)

Has this been implemented in any form, or is there any other way of=20
controlling the mouse pointer from userland.
