what's exactly L_COWINPROGRESS for?
i don't think it makes much sense because the subsequent pool_get()
in getnewbuf() can fail even if buf_lotsfree() returns 1 due to
L_COWINPROGRESS.
besides, i can't believe that lwp is a right place to put
a filesystem specific flag.
