The iBook has no traditional serial interfaces, so there's no way to get
a serial console on it. USB->RS232 frobs won't work either since they
need kernel support. On a bigger Mac it should be possible to run X on a
2nd graphics board so it won't obscure the console but that requires
massive hacking in Xfree's stupid handling of PCI devices ( I've done
that on the S900, but since there's no way to get another graphics
controller into the iBook... )
have fun
Michael
