That's a pretty stupid policy on Google's part. Porting somthing like
XFS (which doubled the size of the Linux kernel sources I think) cannot
be done in 2 months by one person to get a working, fairly bug-free
implementation. Groups/teams should be encouraged: that's how work gets
done in the real world anyway. A "one-man-army" is not going to be able
to do significant projects, like porting file systems, well.
