I'm transferring a 20GB-file to my PC (running netbsd-3),  and the system 
is hanging every 1-3 secconds for a  bit to free memory. This also maakes 
they keyboard repeat keyys at random, which makes the sysstem somewhat 
useless.

Would it be possible to  teach the VM system to not hit performance thhat 
bad for files where it's clear they are sequentially writteen only once, 
without any need to cache them that aaggesssively?
