Definitely.
There's plenty of prior art on this, for instance AIX supports even
concurrent writing on volume groups on shared SCSI buses, M$ 'cluster
services' rely on a 'quorum disk' on a SCSI bus shared by all cluster
nodes ( or at least it did a couple of years ago ) and there's some
funky 'networking' scheme for Acorn boxes to share a single, expensive
disk ( yeah, this is pretty old ) on a SCSI bus with more than one
workstation.
