Carrying on the umass woe topic, I just tried plugging in a usb floppy drive
containing a floppy:

umass0 at uhub1 port 1 configuration 1 interface 0

umass0: Y-E DATA FlashBuster-U, rev 1.00/1.28, addr 2
umass0: using UFI over CBI with CCI
atapibus1 at umass0: 2 targets
probe(umass0:0:0): command: 0x12,0x0,0x0,0x0,0x24,0x0,0x0,0x0,0x0,0x0,0x0,0x0-[36 bytes]
------------------------------
000: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
016: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
032: 00 00 00 00
------------------------------
probe(umass0:0:0): command: 0x12,0x0,0x0,0x0,0x24,0x0,0x0,0x0,0x0,0x0,0x0,0x0-[36 bytes]
------------------------------
000: 00 80 00 01 1f 00 00 00 59 2d 45 20 44 41 54 41
016: 55 53 42 2d 46 44 55 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20
032: 31 2e 32 38

and then this last command is repeated ad infinitum.. (I have memories of
seeing floppies as sd0 in NetBSD 1.6, but lent the drive to someone in the
meantime.) Nothing ever attaches to umass0.

Thoughts?
