You're asking for disadvantages, but ignore those that have been put up by

'Keep trying to confuse'?! My vision is crystal-clear, as opposed to what
I've seen in your messages. The latter seem to be based purely on
conjecture with some logic thrown in where it would become too obvious for
others.

Do what you think is necessary. However, I will not go with it. I'll try
my luck with some of the other BSDs, and, failing that, I will fork one of
the projects (most likely this one or OpenBSD).

This whole state of affairs is way too primitive for my liking. Get a clue
