In my universe, this would be a fool file candidate. History is there for
us to draw lessons from. The lesson here is that the root file system is a
'bootstrap' (can't think of a better word right now -- sorry) one which is
the foundation for the rest of the system. Keeping (or at least having the
explicit option of keeping) it small, sweet, and simple is in the best
interests of the system and therefore us all.
