a config file from that, so that you would always get the same
enumeration, no matter what else showed up on the machine.
The point is, the config file totally, and exactly describes
your hardware setup.
It takes only a minute to move the very same external HDD from one bus to
another one, you only need to pull FireWire connector off and connect with
USB cable. No screws involved.
