The answer from the dec machine has an source adress of 
 c0a8 c701 and destination of  c0a8 c702.

 The request came from c0a8 c702 which is ok but was send to 
 c13d c763. Is it possible that this the ip-address of another interface 
 of the Dec-machine? Make sure to use the right address (the address of
 the interface you want to talk too) for the mount.

Try -o -c as mount options this may help. Normally NetBSD 'binds' a socket
to the port and rejects the misdirected packets. (the -o -c was meant
to work around another problem, but may help here).

It looks like the nameserver gave a differnt answer the second time.
'Usual' workaround create a joyce-netbsdnet A record for the network
connected to the NetBSD machines and use that for mounting.
