For some inexplicable reason, I only run my "kill 'em all and let
init() sort it out" script when I go on-battery and off-battery.

I have often joked that unix needs a SIGWINCH-like signal for
interface address changes.  Having ever daemon that listen to the
routing socket seems like a better abstraction.
