Hi... does the branch compile if done right for anybody, or am I just behaving
stupid?

cc -O2 -pipe -Werror -I/usr/local/1.4.x/src/usr.sbin/bind/lib -I/usr/local/1.4.x/src/usr.sbin/bind/lib -I/usr/local/1.4.x/src/usr.sbin/bind/lib/../include -I/usr/local/1.4.x/src/usr.sbin/bind/lib/../../../dist/bind/include -I/usr/local/1.4.x/src/usr.sbin/bind/lib/../../../dist/bind/lib/dst -DHMAC_MD5 -DUSE_MD5 -nostdinc -idirafter /mnt4/usr/include -c /usr/local/1.4.x/src/usr.sbin/bind/lib/../../../dist/bind/lib/resolv/res_mkupdate.c
/usr/local/1.4.x/src/usr.sbin/bind/lib/../../../dist/bind/lib/resolv/res_mkupdate.c: In function `__res_nmkupdate':
/usr/local/1.4.x/src/usr.sbin/bind/lib/../../../dist/bind/lib/resolv/res_mkupdate.c:87: storage size of `in6a' isn't known

87 struct in6_addr in6a;

shouldn't this be conditional?
(on INET6)
or should it be compiled with -DINET6 even for 1.4.x?
