Where is the 'usual' place to configure ip forwarding (for ipv4)?

Clearly issueing 'sysctl -w net.inet.ip.forwarding=1' has the correct
effect and /etc/rc.d/network will set ip6.forwarding (from ip6mode in
rc.conf), but where should I configure it for ip4 (indeed where did I do
in on my 1.5.2 system)?
