Hello,
I am trying to configure an ADSL connection under NetBSD.
-the pptp package is installed
-pppd is installed as well
-my network card is seen by the OS (called ne2)
-I have an alcatel modem
-a ping on 10.0.0.138 is OK (all packets received)
-a ping on 10.0.0.10 is OK (all packets received)
However, when I run the following command to attempt a connection to the net
"pptp 10.0.0.138", I get the following error code:
**********Error Code***************
Using remote IP Address 10.0.0.138
warn [...pptp_call_mgr] connect can't assign requested address
fatal [...] could not open control connection to 10.0.0.138
fatal [...] call manager exited with error 256
*************************************
Can anyone help please?
Thanks in advance,
Balteo.
