tech-net is perhaps not the right forum, but I thought I might as well
start here.
Have anyone considered that the switch to ipv6 needs changes to wtmp and
other databases?
In wtmp, the hostname is just 16 bytes, and formatted in a printable way
means that you cannot see where people are coming from at all with ipv6
addresses.
Another thing is when you have a router that don't respond to router
solicitation messages. There should be some way of manually setting the
default route for ipv6 hosts.
