Back at ssh.com ssh 1.2.4 or something, the preference for using the Unix domain
sockets for the remote end X $DISPLAY went away due to "porting issues".
I hacked it back a couple of times, but never managed to convinced Tero
Kivinen to keep the support there. That is the real solution.
