Yes, it is.  I don't think the "quota" command would return anything if it
wasn't, so a quick test just to make sure...

With rquotad uncommented in /etc/inetd.conf on the server:

barretts: [~] % quota
Disk quotas for user visitor6 (uid 1215):
  Filesystem   blocks    quota    limit   grace   files   quota   limit   grace
/am/rialto/home2
               102388*   51200   102400   4days     276       0       0

With it commented out:

barretts: [~] % quota
Disk quotas for user visitor6 (uid 1215): none
