  I guess that our 2.4GHz FHSS phone system, if it is very "chatty,"
  might cause the same adaptation.  Packets sent very fast will fit more
  often between the phones' interfering hops than slow packets. I need
  to find a pristine 2.4GHz environment for further testing.
