  Yes, that's true.
  The reason I named the script /sbin/ifup, is because I'm mostly converting
Linux admin's to NetBSD, and this gives them a warm fuzzy :-)

  We've already done this on our routers. The question was - is this
generally useful. There is no real precedent here, except for Linux.
