I'm used to using ipf with -n to syntax-check the file.  But today, on
a 3.0 /i386 machine (running the build@works.netbsd.org kernel of
2006-12-19, /sbin/ipf MD5 checksum fab4062dab8b0029e52edaa94a2afce1),

# ipf -n -Fa -f /etc/ipf.conf+
# ipf -Fa -f /etc/ipf.conf+
syntax error error at "group", line 17

(/etc/ipf.conf+ is a scratch copy of /etc/ipf.conf).  I think I know
what the syntax error is (I left off a /32); the part that bothers me
is that with -n it didn't pick up the error.

Am I misinterpreting -n, and it really isn't suitable as a syntax-check
for config files, or is this truly broken?
