Don't we do something similar to this for kde, We have a meta-pkg that installs
the whole application?

I also did this for my xview pkg.. (someone else just committed one, which I
need to talk to him about, (there are nasty bugs in the freebsd one)) But in my
local version I made a meta pkg for it as well which installs the config,libs
and applications..

I like the idea for what you are saying though.. I would suggest a new
category, "suites".  So you can go into suites/kde and build the whole 9 yards
of kde and have it go.
