For clarification in case some users get zealous (<grin>):

: + support for ELF shared objects has been added

In about 40-50% of those pkgs which create shared objects.  It's by no means
done, but it's Getting There Fast.

: + X11 packages can now be installed in the same tree as normal ones

For the most part.  There's probably 10-20% of X pkgs that will be unhappy
with this and will need some coaxing to work properly with xpkgwedge (and
USE_LOCALBASE_FOR_X11).
