Right. My ideal situation is to have three config files, `local,'
`old generic' and `new generic'. My first install sees none of the
three present, and so installs new generic and copies it to local.
My next update sees local and new generic, moves new generic to
old generic, installs new generic, and leaves local alone. Then I
can diff old and new generics to see what config changes have come
in, and modify local appropriately.
An extra enhancement might be, after install, to compare old generic
and local, and if they are exactly the same, copy new generic to
local.
