FYI, the change to check the pkg_* version caused the distfile and
README updates on the FTP server to lose.  I updated the tools and
reran the scripts, and it all looks happy now.

Please remember to have this done in the future.  Or don't have it
check at all in this case, since the pkg_* tools aren't used!
