Yah.  Actually, I'll probably end up making it an unconditional patch that
is activated by a switch (that's the `standard pkgsrc way' of doing this
type of thing).

However, I can probably say that it won't make it into the pkgsrc tarball
destined for the 1.4 release (though it probably doesn't matter much, as the
ssl-enabled version will not allow pkg binaries to be built ;).
