Hi!
I tried 'make check' for cvs (in devel/cvs/work/cvs*) on 1.4S(userland
1.4P)/i386, and got the following failures:
for devel/cvs (the same result on 1.4.2):
cd src ; make AR='ar' CC='cc' CFLAGS='-I/usr/pkg/include' LDFLAGS='-L/usr/pkg/lib -Wl,-R/usr/pkg/lib -L/usr/pkg/lib -Wl,-R/usr/pkg/lib -L/usr/pkg/lib' LIBPROGS='' LIBS='-lcrypt' MAKE='make' MAKEINFO='makeinfo' RANLIB='ranlib' TEXI2DVI='texi2dvi' YACC='bison -y' bindir='/usr/pkg/bin' infodir='/usr/pkg/info' libdir='/usr/pkg/lib' mandir='/usr/pkg/man' prefix='/usr/pkg' exec_prefix='/usr/pkg' check
if [ -x ../../rcs/src/rcs ] ; then RCSBIN=`pwd`/../../rcs/src ; export RCSBIN ; fi ; /bin/sh ./sanity.sh `pwd`/cvs
This test should produce no other output than this line, and a final "OK".

for devel/cvs-current:
cd src ; make AR='ar' CC='cc' CFLAGS='-I/usr/pkg/include' LDFLAGS='-L/usr/pkg/lib -Wl,-R/usr/pkg/lib -L/usr/pkg/lib -Wl,-R/usr/pkg/lib -L/usr/pkg/lib' LIBPROGS='' LIBS='-lcrypt' MAKE='make' MAKEINFO='makeinfo' RANLIB='ranlib' TEXI2DVI='texi2dvi' YACC='bison -y' bindir='/usr/pkg/bin' infodir='/usr/pkg/info' libdir='/usr/pkg/lib' mandir='/usr/pkg/man' prefix='/usr/pkg' exec_prefix='/usr/pkg' check
/bin/sh ./sanity.sh `pwd`/cvs
This test should produce no other output than this line, and a final "OK".

Any comments, or should I just forward these reports to
bug-cvs@gnu.org? If they already have been forwarded, I won't
bother...
Btw, why do we handle cvs and cvs-current differently than e.g. pth
and pth-current (no -current in cvs-current's package name, no
CONFLICTS= lines)? Oversight or wanted behaviour?
Bye,
Thomas
