Why not try it? If you find you need additional patches, you can add
them to your own "pkgsrc" tree -- if they match "patches/patch-local-*",
they won't be bothered by either "cvs update" or "sup". I'm not sure
that we'd want to add thousands of patches just for Darwin, but a few
would probably be OK. After you've played with it a while, maybe you
could tell us the extent of the damages.
