I am still trying to get gcompris to work. The author told me that his
plugins code is based on the xmms code.
So I looked at the pkgsrc at some xmms plugins. Also, I read some more
notes in Packages.txt. I changed my pkgsrc Makefile for gcompris to add:
USE_BUILDLINK_ONLY= YES
GNU_CONFIGURE= YES
USE_LIBTOOL= YES
LTCONFIG_OVERRIDE= ${WRKSRC}/ltconfig
But it still behaves the same. Has anyone built gcompris under NetBSD?
It is ported for FreeBSD.

By the way, is it okay to submit a new package that doesn't work?
