That's the problem, it didn't, as show my pkg-db diff log.

This has been discussed a few months ago, iirc.

Some poeple (whith which I agree) said that "make update" is merely a
"make deinstall reinstall".

An d I can't understand why it didn't reinstall dependencies.

I have another machine nto upgrade graphics/png, so I'll give another
try, and try to keep the log.
