Hi all

I am having a problem with pkgdb. The following error messages keep showing
when I try to install/update a package.

pkg_create: can't open pkgdb: Inappropriate file type or format

or 

pkg_delete: cannot open /var/db/pkg/pkgdb.byfile.db: Inappropriate file type or format

I did a "pkg_admin rebuild", and even removed the db file, but the problem
still exists.  How can I solve this?  I interrupted a package update because I
saw it removing kde3 to install kde1.  Could this cause the problem?  Thanks.
