I think so, yes.  Dependent packages will need to be a.) updated, and
b.) tested with the new ant version.

It is also worth looking into a separate package to contain ant's
optional tasks, which are currently not built.  These cannot be part of
the base ant package, as a number of them depend on java pkgs which are
themselves built with ant.
