Yes, I know there is another pax. I know it is being updated. (I was
working on that myself too.)
I don't know of all the differences between the versions of pax.
I can scan through it and look for differences too.
I do know that pkgsrc contains some duplicated software (like a few
versions of whois, host(1), ftp clients, et cetera).
My plan is to import into pkgsrc-wip so people can test it. (I guess I
should of asked there instead.)
My question is: what should I name it?
