I just installed vmware3 from pkgsrc and got a black screen within vmware. I
read that I had to set DISPLAY to localhost:0

but when I do that i get this:

VMware Workstation Error:
Cannot open display.
Failed to initialize user interface.

I think it has to do with xauth but not sure? How do I get vmware to work?
