There are some reports on current-users@ that the linux binary
stable 1.1.0 binaries run fine in emul mode on both -current and 1.6.x.
Perhaps it's time to upgrade pkgsrc...perhaps move the 1.0.1 pkgs to
$*-stable and make 1.1.0 the default?

Just an FYI.

I'm on "1.6ZG NetBSD 1.6ZG (BLACKPEARL) #1: Sun Dec 7 22:53:47 EST
2003" and it's functioning just fine w/o any gtk2 support. Even the
spell checker works! I fetched the 1.1.0 insall linux/ntel binaries
from a mirror and did a local install.
Were you originally compiling OO 1.1.0 from source?

It would seem to me that the stable binaries still use raw/custom X11
or motif toolkit.
